Interesting Stuffs on the Horizon

Sooo, milling about the internets I saw a few things I’d like to talk about.

First of all, there is a Pirates and Ninjas dodgeball game that is coming to a store near you in the future.  With all the hubbub about the ninja/pirate wars and such, I think it was about time that a game was made on the incredibly stupid premise. There’s so much you can do with it!  What pisses me off is that it’s dodgeball!! They could have really REALLY expanded this into so much more.

How about a Team Fortress 2 like game, pirate heavy’s with fucking cannons and ninja spys just generally being invisible.  Or even an awesome Metal Gear Solid 4 themed mode!!  Ok, work with me now; you have two teams, one ninjas, one pirates. Instead of having Solid Snake as the third one man team, how about FUCKING CHUCK NORRIS!?! Yeah, I know, it’s amazing! Oh well. Someday people will wake up and start making games that are pure awesome instead of the shit Ubisoft regularly chucks out on the Wii.

On another note, Fallout 3 will be playable at PAX which is fantastical! I’ve been eagerly looking for another game in the Fallout franchise, and my expectations were doubled when I heard Bethesda was working on it.  Being a huge Oblivion fan, clocking my first 80 hours in the game having NOTHING to do with the main plot, I’m quite excited for another sandbox adventure. They better not suck it up.
